Outdated colour profile?

i have a problem with this app. All my photos when viewed on it are yellowed and /or washed out (Actually even the app interface is yellowed) . I googled it to find out that its probably because my monitor has an incorrect colour profile. I didnt understand that. I opened up photoshop and it gave a similar warning. This problem does NOT persist throughout windows 10. Everything else is fine .

the monitor im using for photos is LG 192WS. I know its pretty old, but my main monitor conked out and im stuck with this for a while.

Photoshop told me to run a colour calibration software that came with the monitor (it didnt )

so i dont really know what to do here. Can anyone help?

You should be able to change the colours of the monitor

via the OSD built in to the monitor

if not then colour calibration is your only way to go.

I will have to download a new software for it then yes? Do you know which is the best?
