Chat Placement - Minecraft

Gregrs

I wasn't sure where to put this; so if someone could move it to the correct section if needed, that would be great.

Basically, I don't know how many of you have played minecraft, but I'm trying to get the chat above the hearts like how it used to be. For example, in like 1.2.5, the chatbox was only covering the armor bars (for when you were wearing armor); but now, it covers the hearts as well, and I don't like that because I can't really see my hearts that well.

Is there a way (via .minecraft folder) for me to make it so it's like that. Like maybe replacing a class file or something.

I'm not entirely sure if this makes to much sense, so if you need some screenshots, I'll try to find some.

But then that makes the chat smaller, which is what I don't want.

You could get the LabyMod, which allows you to move the chat as well as several other useful features. What I do is set the GUI scale to normal and raise the chat size.

Umm, I don't think so. I only play 1.8. I don't like 1.7 or 1.9.
