Depends on the voltages you'll need, but if it's around 1.4v, you'll need a high end air cooler or AIO to achieve good temps.

If you want to use a 212 evo, you'll have to delid it and use CLU under the IHS.

I was gonna run at 1.34 V

If I go above 90 would you say I need AIO liquid?

Nah a Noctua D15/D14 or a Dark Rock pro 3 will suffice. AIO water coolers are not known for their price per performance.

I'd assume you want to run 1.34v because you saw some post about 1.35v or higher being dangerous?

FYI it's not, Skylake has higher voltage tolerances, and runs colder than Haswell

how do you know that your chip is stable at that voltage? have you tested it?

I remember something about Paul from Pauls Hardware. 5960x was running at like 1.2 volts for 4.7 ghz, but Jay from JayzTwoCents has to run his 5960x at like 1.325 volts.

It all totally depends on your chip.

I had a crappy fx-6300 that only OC'd to 4.2 on 1.4 volts, which was higher voltage than I wanted to push it, I would see how low you can get the voltage while keeping the computer stable before deciding on what voltage you will run your CPU at.
