I'm looking to build a new gaming/editing PC soon and I'm not sure what graphics card I should get.

GTX 970, GTX 1070, R9 390?

My other Components:

Cpu- Intel i5-6600K

Mobo- MSi Intel Z170A Gaming M3

Psu- EVGA Supernova G2 80+ Gold 750w

Memory- Corsair VengenceLPX 16 GB DDR4 DRAM 3200 MHz

1070.

 

Should be more powerful than a titan x, and has 8GB of VRAM.

Wait for 1070 for prices to drop. Then wait again for AMD 400 series. Then buy a r9 390 at 300$. Profit

It'll be a few months before 1070 prices get much lower, and as is $380 for a card of that performance level is pretty damn good.

Well we don't have benchmarks yet, since the benchmarks we got come from the company that manfacture the crads so..yeah. IMO for now 380$ ain't justified until we get some real benchmarks in. After that point if the card does end up performing as good as they said it would I might as well take my pants off
