Worth resurrecting a Nexus 7 2013?

Hey LTT

I tried to fix my nexus 7 2013 (16GB, Wi-Fi) with a replacement digitizer for around 15 bucks. I kinda melted the plastic frame, and took out the LCD in the process (super powerful heat gun)

Is it worth paying 50 bucks to get a new frame, digitizer and screen (considering that I already have a OnePlus One), or should I let it join the scrap pile of broken phones and laptops in the garage?

P.S. it also has a DBrand skin on it, just in case that makes a difference

Nexus 7 is a solid tablet. But it depends on whether you heavily enjoy the large screen over your phone would make it worth it. I'm mean it's all up to you because it depends on how much you prefer a tablet over a phone.

My GTX 970 carries me to global.

There are many excellent tablets out there, although many call tablets a dying category. Nexus 7 is still the latest small tablet made from Google, and desperately requires an update. I'd suggest an upgrade IF you rely on any sort of graphic intensive tasks such as gaming or heavy mutlitasking.
