Screen off problem

Hi

 

So I have a problem with my monitor, I used windows 10 for about 8 months now and this problem is just kinda driving me insane.

 

So i got gadget installed ever since now and then, and even I have this gadget called monitor off , it basically turn off my monitor without wait for a while, I used it very often and most of the time it works and sometimes I clicked on it and it turn of for 1 second and it turned on again, I tried multiple times but it still didn't work so i went to power troubleshooting to fix it, but it still didn't, Sometime the display just stay on for hours too. So Does anyone knows how to fix my problems?

Why dont you just press the power button on your monitor to turn it off?

Well I wanna prevent any damaging any of my laptop hardware, laptop's power button has a famous infamous fact about it'll get damage if we use it too often. So I don't wanna damage it. Do you have any other solution?

It's a laptop? Maybe look for other software the only laptop software I used made it so it stayed on while it was closed

what i have is the only gadget that works
