I am wanting to learn about old computers and how they were built, I am interested in building a windows xp legacy computer. I just want to know what were the most graphically demanding games early 2000's (2000-2004) and what were the best computer parts in 2000/2001. Also the best parts in 1998 and best games of 1998 (also interested in making a windows 98 legacy build)

it wasnt good to be honest. it was a time where consoles really where better.

Be prepared to pay a bit of money if you want the best parts from those eras because people will think that they are worth a fortune just like i saw someone selling a '96 packard bell with monitor for $500USD.

 •E5-2670 @2.7GHz • Intel DX79SI • EVGA 970 SSC• GSkill Sniper 8Gb ddr3 • Corsair Spec 02 • Corsair RM750 • HyperX 120Gb SSD • Hitachi 2Tb HDD •

whaa? Those consoles(except PS2 if you had a good tv) could only handle 30fps!

But eh, it was a time where the cheapness and readyness(aka build a old computer is fucking confusing) so i guess youre right.
