In about 4 months, I will be building a new system. This time around, I want to focus on ultimate aesthetics, and RGB lighting. Ideally, I would like my entire tower, keyboard, mouse, and LED strips behind my desk to be the same color. what is the best way to do this?

I know about ASUS's Hero Maximus VIII with the built in RGB Aura header, but that motherboard is way too expensive for my budget. is there a way to use a normal 4 pin header for synced RGB, and is there a way to link the software for an RGB keyboard (Corsair K70 RGB) with the other lighting in my case?

You can use an Aquacomputer farbwerk to controll the RGB lighting in your case over 4pin headers via software. But I don't know of any software that syncs different RGB controlling software suits.
