Issues with PC Gaming

So I have a decent Laptop (cant run brand new games at all but can run games like fallout 4 at medium settings) and have a large steam Library that I've filled almost exclusively with games that I enjoy or want to try. I will even be building a Gaming/Programming rig partly for fun and partly for IT course next month.

 

My problem is that I can not get myself into gaming lately. I try to play a game and will usually exit it within five maybe ten minutes. I tried taking a few month break from gaming but that has not worked.  Has anyone else experienced this kind of burn out or fatigue with gaming? If so how did you overcome it?

It´s simply you don´t want to. No real way to change the feeling.

It could just be your actually tired of your current library. 
I supplement AAA's with a lot of in between indie gaming.

That is a valid point. ANy good Indie Rpg games you could recommend?

If you dont want to game read book or something else you enjoy, no sense forcing you to do something you dont want to for enjoyment.

For most games I wont play for a while and then complete several shortly after enother....except for dark souls, I play that shit all year long <3.

Oddly enough I do want to play games I just can not find anything that grabs my interest at this time. Also love the user name!

Might even consider Castle Crashers as an RPG.

I sometimes find playing the opposite of my tastes helps

 

Maybe a genre you have never tried or not had much experienced with, something that will get your mind going when you play and stimulate you

Or, perhaps a new online game to play with a friend to help get you through etc

^True that. I remember picking up Pneuma and didn't expect much from it but ended up loving it.
Wouldn't have though a puzzle game would make it into my queue.

yeah like ive been bored and just tried out a strategy, or an RTS or a 4X or just a weird indie game, 

I love myself a great story driven AAA game, but sometimes you just need to experience something else

I like to dip into games like Prison Architect / Sim City etc and have a nice relaxing evening chilling out sometimes, or play minecraft and just fuck around
 

Cant just sit playing intense AAA FPS games all day
