$800 gaming pc

yasho2249

I will be gaming most of the time on this one at 1080p. Want some good frame rates

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4gxPyc

Am nt sure abt the psu the wifi card(got no knowledge abt that) and the monitor. I read that there might be screen tearing if the monitor doesn't has freesync. Will the monitor be good? Also I will be starting from nothing ie. I need all the components to get the pc started. Tell if anything necessary is left out.

Get a better PSU - you definitely want to do that.

I've downgraded to an i5 6400 (which honestly isn't the end of the world because it's still a four core i5) and changed out the monitor for an IPS one to try and cater for the more expensive PSU while somewhat trying to stay within your budget.

EDIT: Seeing how the budget is now $800, just switch it out to a i5 6500 and you're set.

i would leave out the dvd drive if not absolutely neccessary. also this is faster:

no it wont be bad if you keep it over 60fps. maybe turn the settings down a little.

also dvd is dead. if you dont have your movie collection on dvd or need it for another reason save the money

Anything from SeaSonic or XFX (except for their XT series - avoid them), the Antec HCG, the EVGA GQ, G2, GS, P2, B2 series.
