Anyone play Rust?

So just recently on YouTube I've seen rust getting all this hype. I don't own this game but it does look pretty fun. With university ending in a week I'm going to have a bit a free time on my hands. Do any of you guys play? And if so is it worth it?

its worth it if you can spend atleast 6 hours a day playing it, and have buddies that can be on for the other 18 hours (in shifts) its a very time consuming game, you can spend 3 hours to get a base and have half of it stone and then you log off for the night come back and boom you just got raided and have to start over.

 

its really fun if you can join/make a big clan and go raid people. but playing solo is really hard. i have over 3k hours in rust but i dont play it anymore

Cool I will add you. But I would rather play on a smaller server or one owned by a group or something

I mean if enough LTT people want to play I might consider. Like make a clan or some sort. I've just playing the division lately and I'm now a bit bored. Want to try something new you know?

modded can help you get started faster, but on modded server people usally have guns after 1 hour so they go around killing everyone for fun

I rather play unmodded or at least light mods like a mini-map or compus

I used to be big on mine craft awhile back. I would imagine it would be similar

Eh not really, you have health hunger and guns, way more deadly you can get killed from people 5000 feet away with a rife. It's like a dumb down version of real life in the primtive times. It's not like you can build a house in 5 min it will take a few IRL hours and it's hard to find stone and you'll need that a lot

So I go this server that a friend invited me to but no one plays on it. mean they do but they all come on at once and play for a short while. So its a 5 person limit to get air drops and less than that play. Im looking for people to play with. If your interested here :
