Wireless Charging too much?

Go to solution Solved by EpicGeekonFire,

No it's not bad for the phone. Samsung has circuitry in both the charger and the phone than allow the phone to charge and then trickle charge at the 98%-100% mark.

I use wireless charging for my S6 all the time. No issues after 6 months and there shouldn't be any in the future.

I have a Samsung S7 Edge and I only use the wireless charging. I've got into a habit of just putting the phone on the pad all the time and was wondering is it bad for the phone. the phone remains cool all the time

Why would it be? if samsung allows it to happen there mustn't be any bad things that could happen to your phone

It is true; to a point.

Back in the day, chargers would just pump current into the battery for a while even after it was ful, and no Li-ion battery likes that very much, but modern chargers turn off the charging when battery hits 100%, let it get to 98% (or something like that) and repeat that.
