Alright, ill try to provide as much info as possible and see where that gets me
So yesterday night i was playing a game on steam and to my knowledge my SSD was working before that. After the game i go into "This PC" on windows 10 and see my D: Drive is missing, which is my SSD.
My computer recognizes it and sees that its there but will not let me interact with it, i will include images below of Device manager, and Disk management to show. This is the first time i have encountered a problem like this.

Device manager says the drive is working but under events it mentions the device "Device not migrated".

My SSD is connected to my PC through a SATA to PCI  Adapter and has worked up until yesterday. I have tried plugging my SSD into the board through SATA and it has caused windows to be stuck on the spinning circles in start up.

The Kingston is my primary boot device as C:, my second SSD, Samsung, was my D:, and my 1TB is my ST310000528AS.
Im not sure as to whether my SSD is dead or something has caused it to stop functioning. If any more info is needed i will be happy to give if it helps with my computer

Thank you :)

Right now its connected through a SATA to PCI-E connector, if connected through SATA i cannot start up windows

sounds like the adapter card may be messed up and corrupted the data... or the SSD is shot try another PC or plugh it into the board while it is on... SATA is hot swappable
