Ps3 sound problems

So i got new tv today lg 32LF51 and there was a new ps3 update today. So i updated it i started batman arkham asylum and i heard sounds expects batman voice and his grapling hook. Well ok so i went tk try some other game and i tried dead space 3 i didnt heard when plasma cutter shoots. Is this an update problem or. Ps3 is connected to my lg with hdmi.

tried watching tv? if it still sounds broken its probably the tv.

 

If its not i woudl try a different cable, sony is a company that wouldn't fuck up that bad with an update

Sound like certain channels are missing. TV on stereo while PS3 on surround maybe? Go into the sound options of the PS3 and set it specifically to stereo and see if that fixes it.

I saw on yt some vuy mlving dolby digitak from sound options and leavning only linear some idk. I will try that
