Guys I need help because I cant understand how these work

I want as good as protection İ can get for a reasonable price

(Especially brownouts because that thing happens nearly everday where İ am going to be this summer(thanks air conditioners))

And enough time to press ctrl s and safely shut down my computer in a blackout if possible

My spec -if it matters- are

6700k

R9 390x

Noctua d14

750 watt gold silversyone powersupply

250gb ssd+7200rpm hdd

And in future hopefully a 3440×1440 34 inch monitor

By the way please suggest apc ups because of avaibility

APC is normally the brand to go for UPS

i recently bought an APC 1100VA 600W unit, its been working fine

though i have yet to test how long it will last powering my system under synthetic benchmark and my networking gear + peripherals

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

im not familiar with UPS myself tbh...

but i just went to the shop, the box have rough estimate for how long you can expect the UPS to power your machine with respect to how many watts it consumes

but dont forget to factor in monitor and other things you're attaching to it too lol

as for protection, some models offer great surge protection and some offers voltage regulation i believe, some even comes with a software that shuts down your computer in case of power outages,

i guess it depends on what you need

http://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-CP1500AVRLCD-Intelligent-1500VA-Mini-Tower/dp/B000FBK3QK/ This is one of the best value UPSes and the VA is just right for your system.

Well its not available in my country does it offer better protection than  apc 1400va back ups that i would want to pay 40 more bucks(to get it in my coubtry which is turkey)

And just to be clear it does protect from brownouts right?

Thank you in advance

Both UPS offer the same protection (that APC is good too, make sure to install the software though) and yeah both of them protect from brownouts.

I'd get a ups with pure sinewave http://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-CP1500PFCLCD-Sinewave-Compatible-Mini-Tower/dp/B00429N192?th=1&psc=1

I was using a apc with eco mode, but it caused issues with my pc, moved it to my tv/consoles, and bought a pfc pure sinewave ups, no issues
