My budget would be around 2500£ with the monitors , no need for wifi and I would prefer a fractal design r5 no windows , all black and silent.

It won´t be silent, but it´ll be pretty damn quiet:

You can decide on the monitors, extra fans if you so chose, or to just switch the cooling to water. Your call.

Hello guys , this autumn I'm going to college in England ( I'm from Romania) at Bournemouth university at Software design for animations games and effects and my current PC is running kinda slow ( i5 2500k , 960, 8gb RAM , 2x 128gb ssd's and 1 TB HDD ) . I was thinking of going all-out with a x99 platform but I don't really know what to buy ! Will a 5930k and a 980ti with 32 gigs of RAM be overkill? Should I calm down and go with a 4790k or a 6700k  ? On my rig while working in blender and unreal it stutters alot . I want to build a PC that can help me in my studies , work and gaming . For a monitor I'll go with 2 monitors one 27 144hz the otherone will be a IPS 27" that can pivot . Periferals will be a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard and my trusty mionix naos . Thanks in advance and I hope to hear from you guys pretty soon . Have a nice one

OKay, take a step back. What´s your budget for the tower itself? Should it include wifi? Any prefered color scheme?

as a guy who uses photoshop, illustrator and unity a lot. lol no. that is fine.

I constantly hit my 16gb max. the 5930k is a bit overkill tho. I mean, unless you need to render things 24/7 its not really usefull.
My 4790k is plenty for all the work I do in unity. though 3d models do tend to take a hit on the cpu.

also, have you considered a 34" ultrawide instead of the 2x 27" ?  im not decided on that yet (I have 1 27" but I though about getting an ultrawide for working.)

you can surely get 16gb of ram now (2x8gb sticks) and upgrade later tho.

So the cpu is a little overkill , I see . About the monitors I really don't know about one ultrawide . I usually watch something while gaming or even working for example I use 3 monitors now , 2 stacked on top of each other and the 3rd one on the left side for vids and miscellaneous. I will be working with a lot of 3d modeling and animations and I know that they eat RAM for breakfast :D.

extreme editions are usually 999$, but you can also get lower priced Broadwell-E processors :)

Yeah true that :D I'll have to wait till July so I can see what nvidia and Intel releases . I'm just making a idea of what performance to look for .
