Lean Mean Steam Stream Machine?

Im building/buying a computer specifically for streaming steam games to my living room (as well as watching Netflix and such).

 

How 'beefy' does it need to be? should I focus on giving it the best connection speed, or does it help to have more horsepower in the processor/ graphics department?
