Hello! I've been getting an error I'm not familiar with. My PC restarts with no warning or info saying there's been an error. I look in event logs I see this error:

Performance power management features on processor 7 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.

Now this occurs for each processor core and I've attached a screenshot of it. It's probably a power thing and I've heard it can be due to something not being plugged in properly so I reseated all the power cables which helped it for a day or two but now it's happening more regularly. It could be a PSU problem but I'd rather figure it out for sure before splashing any cash. My system specs are here: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Y6Xb7P and the only recurring feature is it's happening on Dark Souls 3, I've played a few other games to test and not had any crashes so I don't know if it's a problem with the game (I have heard of a few crashing problems but nothing like this after some googling) so I guess I'd like to know what it might be if it is a hardware problem.

Any suggestions?

Yeah I am thinking that the Corsair CX  series has more lemons then other power supplies another user on here has the 600w and I believe it fry his first motherboard. What other games have you played with no problem? You also could just do a straight up stress test and see if it is the game or the psu.

To defend the PSU I've had it now for... 4 years? This is the first power related issue I've had and that's not too bad. Fortunately I haven't had any crashes in 2 days now so that's good news.

Other games I tried it on were Witcher 3, Mount and Blade Warband, Dark Souls 1, I also did some Premier Pro rendering which is obviously very CPU heavy and didn't get any problems. I'm more thinking it's Dark Souls 3 that's the problem now...
