You'll need an operating system of some sort (although I guess you could download Linux).  And its basically a travesty these days to build a new system without a SSD. 

 

But if you only got $500, well, I guess it will have to make do.  But saving up a little more money really expands your options and gets you a far better 'base' onto which you can add a GPU, etc.

I had an old Windows 7 key to use/ and instead I got a 1TB SSHD

Get this instead. The i3-6100 will kill the FX-6300 in gaming applications, and the R9 380 is substantially faster than the R7 370 and comes with 4GB of VRAM which will help a lot with modern games.

 

The PSU you chose is really super bad, so I changed it for a much better one. Since you already have an SSHD I figured an SSD would be a better investment than an HDD.
