A few specs:

  1. Mouse: Razer Mamba TE (USB)
  2. A PS2 keyboard
  3. A second, generic USB mouse.
  4. Windows 10

Here's what's happening. At first, everything was working perfectly fine, I was even playing a game at the time. Then, the Mamba disconnected and stop working. Plugging it out / in would make the lights show up and mouse cursor move for half a second, before DCing again.

I tried to restart the system, now it doesn't even connects for that split second anymore. If I plug it on the USB port right next to the PS2 port, I hear a low pitched beep and the Keyboard freezes. Unplugging it makes the keyboard function again. Plugging it right next to my 2nd USB mouse causes windows to pop the USB removal sound, and the 2nd mouse freezes; unpluggin the Mamba plays the USB on sound, and the 2 mouse works again.

I tried the Mamba on another PC, and it DCed the 2 mouse as well.

Does anyone know what's going on here?

Your Mamba may have a fray or some other problem in the cable. I'd go over it by sight and see if you can see any noticeable bulges or rips in the braided sheathe for the internal wires. It may be a problem with the sensor, some mice don't like certain surfaces very much, try doing it on a smooth, non-reflective opaque surface.

K... I fiddled with it a bit, and it seems that there's a problem with the cable (on the mouse side) as pulling it up a bit made the mouse functional again. Bumping on it makes the mouse unusable again.

Great.... F you Razer. I bought it in Jan, it's already defective (and I barely hardcore game on it). I knew I should have bought the g502.....
