When I was building by computer I found myself constantly turning the case in order to route the cables. so I put something together to help.

Back when CRT televisions were popular ikea made a large rotating stand. It has a simple rotating base which is easily removed.

I attached this to a suitably sized piece of plywood and it was done.

The stand allows the computer to be quickly rotated during the building process making it a lot easier. As an alternative to the ikea stand a lazy Susan with a large stable base could be used.
