Hey Linus Tech Tip Fellows. I am trying to look up a good build for a friend his budget is 2,000 and he would prefer a Intel based computer. He would like to at least have a 970 but a 980 would be the best... Other than that a cool build that is as cheap as possible within his budget. Thanks for the help xD

$2000 USD? Will he need peripherals? Windows?

maybe try to  put another 980 ti in it, some models with 3 fans or "hybrids" might run cooler ;)

In any case you can get windows from kinguin for cheaper ($30 I am led to believe.)

I would advise for a more than 500gb SSD though, 256gb fills up very easily I have come to realise.

If its not for 4k I dont see the point of 980ti sli though, may as well save the $500
