upgrading network and need some help

Hello,

I'm looking to replace the crappy time warren cable wifi router some High end gear.  Does anyone know the good and bad about Ubiquiti Network gear. Here is what I'm looking at.

Everything I have read so far looks to be easy to setup, just wondering if anyone has run in to problems that would keep you away from these.

Thanks for the help.

Ubiquiti UniFi stuff is what you want. I replaced all of my crappy APs and routers with them and they just work 100% without any issues or headaches. Linus did a nice review on their higher end APs a while back but I use their cheaper ones (the ones that go in the wall) and they work amazing for all of my devices (about 10-15). I even turned off the wireless on my router in the middle of my house because the Ubiquiti APs cover the whole house and have a strong signal in the same area as my router.

I need a wireless that can handle over 50 clients and good coverage, I have used 3 different big box store routers and all had poor speeds, coverage or just worked like crap

FYI wireless uses token ring style access. your better off having more AP's (depending on how crowded your signals are) that have shorter range as you add more clients. If it was just one or two clients i'd say go with the LR version, otherwise you might get better performance grabbing the 3 pack.
