Hello,

So i want to host a Terraria server from time to time, only thing is, if i want to forward ports, i have to do so on 3 routers.
Now here's the thing, even though i forward the ports in (what i think is) the right way, i can't make it work somehow.

First Router: TP-Link TL-WDR3600
Second Router: TP-Link Archer C2
Third Router: My ISP's Router/modem device (Yes i can forward ports on it)

Rough idea of what my network looks like:
It's all static IP's, and goes like this:

Any help? I'm kinda stuck. I've asssigned all forwarded ports to the previous device (1st router opened port for PC, 2nd for the first, 3rd for the 2nd) and still i can't get people on my server.

Lazy, and unhelpful. I already tried that site, followed all the instructions, i even use their port checker tool to verify whether it opens or not. But it never opens. That's why i'm here.

Best place for it, that where I did,

I'm not sure as i do not that that kit so...

What i would do is test access from each level.

First on the same subnet (i know this will not be effected by PFing but it will remove any possible errors on this level), then access from the subnet above and so on. Then try externally connecting to it.

Report back what conclusion you get to.

I'm not sure what you mean, could you explain a bit simpler?

It is testing to find where the problem is.

(each router has its own subnet, sub-network)

So you want to test if you can connect to the server at different levels of the network (to find what which level the problem is at).

First test if you can connect to the server while been in the same subnet as it (so connected to router 1)

If that works try connecting to the server while connected in the above subnet (router 2)

If that works try connecting to the server while connected in the above subnet (router 3)

If that works try connecting to the server externally (connect to you WAN IP) and see if that work.

Then you know where the (only or first) problem is.

Example port: 443

WAN > 192.168.0.1....

on Router 192.168.0.1 Port Forward Port 443 to 192.168.1.1

on Router 192.168.1.1 Port Forward Port 443 to 192.172.3.1

on Router 192.172.3.1 Port Forward Port 443 to 192.172.3.3

I believe he was doing what but I may be wrong.

But that is what you need to do (quoted)

I did that, no succes. I'm now trying @mcraftax's method.

have you opened the port on the source PC, E.g opened 443 on windows firewall ?

I didn't know i had to, would that make it work?

Why do you have 3 different routers?

We have a pretty long house, and my landlord wanted full wifi coverage. He also didn't want to give the wifi password, so i had to get my own router. Yet he asks me to do all the networking...

why not. It could be that he has to use the ISP's and that simplify putting account details.

The 2nd router is the main router and the 1st may be a computer lab? idk

But i would have as many routers as possible if i could but my parents think the isp crap will do.
