I want to make my first gaming (games like the elderscrolls, battlefield, gta), photoshop and video editing pc this summer holiday but I need some help.

This is the system I want to make: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/jJfZnQ

But can I better wait for the gtx 1070 and need I a other motherboard then or not?

I hope that you guys can help me whit my build and give some commentary where needed.

its best if you can wait, you wont need a new motherboard as pcie is a standard

about your build

Spoiler

1) you should consider getting an r9 390, its better than the 970

2) you should get a better PSU (in term of model), 500W is fine, but get 550~650W is you wanna overclock your gpu

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

It looks fine to me but if you have a little bit more dosh to spend on the computer I would try to go for a "K" series CPU and a Z170 motherboard so that you can overclock in the future and get more performance out of the little beast in the future.

But @Moonzy said it best, PCie is a standard.

CPU: i7-8700K I CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 GPU: ROG Strix 1080 Ti MoBo: ROG Strix Z370-E RAM:  G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB)   PSU: CORSAIR HXi Series HX1000i Case: Corsair Air 540 Display: 24" 1920X1080p 144Hz ASUS - 27" 2560X1440p 144Hz Dell OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit
