After upgrading to windows 10 the v-ram usage in games have increased significantly, and this happens with every game like gta-5 would comsume at max 1900-mb of my v-ram on windows 7 and now at the same settings it consumes more the 2200mb, witcher 3 used to consume 1600mb now it consumes whole 2000mb and since i have only 2gb gtx 960 this causes games to stutter.

I have tried many driver ranging from 350.12 to the latest one all have the same issue

I don't want to lower my settings by also want windows 10

You're going to have to decrease your settings or reduce the textures to reduce vram usage.

well, first off why are you SLI-ing 2GB 960s?

beyond that, i'm currently using ~400MB vram at the desktop, some of that probably has to do with my "background" applications. maybe worth digging around what could be eating that up if you're limited.
