PC SPECS:

CPU: Intel i7 4790K@Stock

Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 380 4Gb

Memory: 16Gb DDR3 1600Mhz

MOBO: MSI B85-G43 Gaming

PSU: ULTRA 600W ATX Power Supply

OS: Windows 10 Home

So I'm currently having an issue with my PC running a game then randomly locking up. Essentially, this only happens when I'm either playing Fallout 4 or Grand Theft Auto 5 or another new game that is rather performance hard. Anyways, my game will freeze for a second, then my monitors will go to sleep and then I get no signal when I try to wake them back up and I end up having to reset my PC. Game Audio is playing while my monitors are in sleep mode. I just can't figure out what the issue is and was hoping someone here might know a fix to it. I suspect it might be a Power Supply issue, but I'm not entirely sure and don't want to go out and spend $100USD for it to not fix the problem.

Most likely it's your PSU since that one isn't of the best quality however you should check your Mobo and GPU as well.

Temps are fine and I was having this issue with an old MOBO while using the same GPU and PSU setup. I'll probably swap the PSU out for something in the 850W range, and if that doesn't fix it I'll probably upgrade to a GTX 980 after that
