"failed to read key from unattended"-windows installation from USB drive

I used USBtoISO to burn the windows 10 ISO into my pen drive.....now when i boot my PC there comes two options.....one says something about UEFI before flash drive and another says just the flash drive.i tried booting with both, but each time it gives me an error like "failed to read key from unattended" or something like that....any solution?

Windows can't read the <productkey> setting from the unattended answer file.

Something like that is not good, we need to know what it says exactly or around there

Any ways, are you actually able to boot into the usb? or does that message just display on screen? without windows?

If it really can't read the product key, best thing to do is call Microsoft since they will/might give you a  new key

I had to reboot my PC, go to my room where my sister is sleeping, activate stealth mode, take my copy and search for a pen, come back to my room, write what the message says then boot the pc and come back here.

 

Anyway yeah, the "installation is starting" it says.So yes, i can boot.

But they don't even tell me to enter a key

It doesn't tell you to enter a key?

Have you ever had Windows on this motherboard?

If so, then you should just be able to proceed with the installation like normal

If you didn't know already, when you use a key (Windows) it's tied to your motherboard so when ever you try to install it again from booting up, it will already be able to access it already

My windows is not original....i just torrented it.Windows 10 is already installed...they did it from the shop.now i'm trying to use the one i downloaded.

Nah it's fine, if they did it, it's not your fault

So you should be able to proceed with the installation  like normal

But i am not ;-; that's where i am stuck...i try to install the torrented windows and it gives me that error.

There's no need to torrent windows 10, all you will need is to use media creation tool from Microsoft to do it, that's probably the reason that you can't activate windows 10.
