Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

The laptop is still under warranty right? if yes give them the laptop back and say that the hdd is dead and they will fix it for you since it's under warranty

Check your BIOS settings. Did it come with Windows 7 or 8/8.1? If Windows 8/8.1, before installing 7 make sure you change the boot mode from Legacy to UEFI in BIOS.

Try F2. And if spamming does not work, try holding it down instead.

EDIT: This should be useful
