Hello Everyone,

 

I just bought this server motherboard.......Intel p/n CPU-S5000SL (A) Dual Xeon CPU LGA771 Server Motherboard E11025-302 and I have some Xeon X 5355's i got trading parts. Will they work with this board I've been house trying to cross refrence and can't get anywhere.

Here is what is in the motherboard manual.......................

 

Socket J (771-pin LGA sockets) supporting one or two Intel® Xeon® processors 5000 sequence, with system bus speeds of 667 MHz, 1066 MHz, and 1333 MHz.

 

And i checked the data sheet on the chips and they are in fact 1333 Mhz on the front side bus. Also a lot of other tech numbers. everything I am reading says they will work but I just wanted some other opinions in case I am missing something.
