Case fans

Hello Or2030 welcome to the forum!

First of all, I'm not experienced with a H110i GTX but my H100i allows me to plug up to 4 fans into the pump unit itself thanks to the 2 cables that came shipped within the unit, from the pump a 3/4 pin fan cable needs to be plugged into the CPU fan header of the motherboard. Because its the CPU cooler.
If you've got any problems doing this step than you might be helped out watching this video: (also for GTX)

If you are only going to do a push or pull configuration you will be left with 2 empty fan headers going to the pump unit, these can be used for the top and middle front fans.
The bottom front one can be plugged in directly to the motherboard since it will be blocked with a harddrive cage and doesn't have to be controlled for "better airflow".

The fans on the radiator unit and the  top and middle front fans can be controlled within Corsair Link.

Now you can plug the bottom front fan into the fan header above the 24-pin connector or to the left of the USB 3.0 header (whatever you prefer).

The bottom fan can be plugged in into the bottom right fan header.

The rear fan can be plugged in on the header above the first PCI-e 1x slot.

Controlling all fans that are directly connected to the motherboard can be done with ASUS' Fan Expert software

Hi,

I hope my question fits under this topic

Im about to order Corsair 780t case, Corsair H110i gtx and the Asus VIII Hero motherboard.

I want to put 3 fans in the front of the case, 1 on the bottom, 1 in the back and 2 goes up with the H110i.

So my question is where am I suppose to connect all the fans so I could control them? I know that I can connect 2 fans to the H110i and use the Corsair software to monitor them and that the case have fan control too but I have no idea how it works.

Also, In Asus site I saw this fans connections (as you can see here). Should I connect the fans to the motherboard?

Thanks

Personally you are putting way to many fans in there (noise is a concern for me), I would just go with 2 or maximum 3 as intake (in front) and the 2 fans on the cooler as outtake.
