FB Usage Issue Payday 2

Hello,
I have been playing Payday 2 on my PC (Specs Below), and I have MSI Afterburner v4.2.0 hardware monitor. While I play the game, the FB Usage averages about 35%. Every now and then when in game, usually when I click to a menu or something, the FB Usage goes to about 95% and the FPS goes down to about 20 from 60. After alt+tabbing, and clicking on MSI Afterburner, the FB Usage goes back down (at least for a small while).

are you running that game in ultra? and do you have background process that could use the GPU?

I am running with everything on medium and anistropic filtering off. The only things I am running in the background are Skype, Steam, and Afterburner.

Do you have the latest video card drivers?

Yes, a clean install

i have no idea then. could be a glitch in the game? maybe some bad code. unless it just started happening then idk

I will try reinstalling.

It might be a hard drive issue.
