Asus Zenfone 2 problems

Hey everyone. I've been having some troubles with my phone. For some backstory, i was just at the gym just listening to my music, and when i went to switch songs, my phone wouldn't exit sleep mode. I thought it was just because i haven't reset my phone in a while, so i just finished up, and then had to go run errands for about another hour or two. When i got home, i went to use my phone, but it was being extremely unresponsive, so i decided to restart my phone. But my phone didn't restart. I thought maybe it ran out of battery, because the battery is also kinda funky. plugged it in, and no indicator led. decided to leave it on the charger for a few hours. Still nothing. ever since i decided to restart my phone, it sounds like it's been stuck in a boot loop. It vibrates twice every once in a while, but no other signs of life. Looked up ways to fix, apparently contact on the battery is sometimes loose, so i decide to check it out, and re-seated the contact on it. Still nothing, and it seems like its been in a boot-loop for the past 9 hours. Anyone else experience this problem? or know of any ways i can possible fix this? any input would be appreciated, i do not want to go back to using a galaxy s II for very long, and the faster i can get my asus phone back in business, the better.

yeah, still no dice. I really don't want to wait an entire month just to rma my phone, but if i have to i will.

I haven't investigated a whole lot, but ill be sure to check it out.

From what i've seen so far, its apparently a common problem with the zenfone 2. there's over 10 pages of other customers having the problem...
