Is CS:GO still having AMD issues?

Anyone know if CS:GO is still having AMD performance issues? I got my Sapphire R9 390 today for my first build, and when I'm done building it I wanna play some CS:GO.

Bruh my 270x runs it fine totally maxed out.

Great. I heard back in the days of Operation: Wildfire something happened making the frames tank. Can't w8 m8 for some Deagle fun.

When the operation launched it was unplayable on AMD for a short time then with in a day or so I stopped crashing out every 30 seconds and then went to every few games and now it's doing fine.

 

Basically it's good to go now.

i had issues on my 380 where it wouldnt scale probably so it was just a black screen but the latest crimson update now has a fix and it runs fine.

I doubt you'll need to OC - your CPU will be the limit for CS:GO

I plan on getting an i5-4690k and overclocking that too.

That will help. CS:GO is CPU-limited ALWAYS.

Cause to get hundreds of frames you need more CPU power than GPU power as the game isn't demdaning.

Most games will run perfectly fine at 1080p Ultrawide on a 390 at high-ultra
