Screen capture and hyperthreading

I found out that screen capture is mostly CPU heavy, I'm now deciding between i5 6600 and i7 6700, so I just wanted to know if screen capture is 'multithreaded' and so if I'd see a benefit in using hyperthreaded CPU.

I believe so, but if that´s your plan then it´d be more cost effective to go 1231v3.
