So for the last day or two I have noticed that my game (tf2) has been running at 30 frames maxed, it'll bump up but then fall back down. Firstly, I thought it would be the game, I checked the max fps control and it was just fine. After that I updated my graphics card (Gigabyte Radeon r9 270), no luck. But now I noticed something weird, whenever I play the game or even run Valley benchmark, the GPU is held at 300 and the memory is at 150. I know for a fact (and have checked online) that these are not even close to what the graphics card can achieve.

Now i do have afterburner but there's one issue. I can turn up the GPU to its normal boost clock, but there's no setting to push the memory to about 5600... The last time I overclocked this, it lasted months but ended up dying and i really don't want that to happen again...

So please help, is there some sort of a bottleneck going on? Or do i just have to 'overclock' it to get it to its normal clocks?

Thanks lots!
- Ethan
