So before anyone anyone gives me a basic answer of well a custom loop is more maintenance and not cost effective, saves your breath, it not one of those questions. I am going to be ordering a phantom 820 here in the not to distant future and would lik some input in the case itself.

  1. Is it pretty easy to water cool in? I've done some homework on this case with Linus, Hardware, and OC3D, a well as read reviews on both Amazon and newegg. My question is can a 360/420 mm rad fit in the top?
  2. How thick can the rad be assuming we are only doing push with the rad on top.
  3. Can a rad be fitted in the bottom of this case? I only need 2 HDD bays and 1 SSD bay.
  4. If I do a Custom loop I want a vertical  reservoir or a bay  reservoir, which is better?
  5. On a custom loop would barb fittings or compression fittings be better.

I can do an AIO loop but I would prefer it to be expandable, are these any good if I plan to water cool my got as well as a cpu?

thanks.

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

If you look on NZXT's website it says a 360/420 can not fit

https://www.nzxt.com/products/phantom-820-white

If you want a much better case for watercooling I would get something purely designed for watercooling such as the fractal design s

Bummer. I really like those cases too...Hmmm maybe the luxe was a better case.
