Hi guys/./.

I just got  these parts -

1. CPU - Intel i7 6700k

2. Motherboard - Gigabyte Z170M D3H Micro-ATX

3. CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper T4 CPU

4. RAM - EVGA Super SSC 16 GB DDR4 2400 MHz

5. Storage - OCZ Trion 150 240GB 2.5 SSD, Toshiba HDWE150XZSTA 5TB HDD

6. Case - Thermalake Core V21

7. PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550w 80+ Gold certified fully modular

8. Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I 802.11a/b/g/n/ac PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter

9. Peripherals - Microcenter  LED keyboard and mouse

I have a Asus VS247H-P 23.6-Inch Full-HD LED-Lit LCD Monitor which i used as a laptop extension. I will be connecting this monitor to my rig.

My main purpose of this pc build is to do photo and some GoPro video footage editing (primarily Photoshop and Lightroom) and light gaming.

I have a Dell XPS 13 which i got in 2013. It had a 4th gen I7 with 8GB RAM and 256GB solid state. But now it heats up a lot when i start photo-editing on it.

I am in US, and the purchases are in US$.

My future upgrate plans are -

1. GTX 970

2. A 1440p curved 29in monitor . I have Samsung 29-Inch Ultra-wide Curved Screen LED-Lit Monitor (S29E790C) in mind, because its way cheaper than the 34in 1440p curved monitors and does the job decently.

Looking forward to suggestions and comments.

NAS... lol.. its not cost effective for me...

core v1 would have been a great case , but it doesnt support micro atx mobo... now, i have to take my rig apart to swap out the case and mobo..

the case also has a restocking fees,
