A quick question

Which is fastest, performance based, and which would be the most considerable card to buy when thinking about playing future games?, I am not buying any of those I am asking on behalf of a friend.

2xMSI GeForce GTX 660 2 GB, TWINFROZR III EDITION

or

1x MSI GTX 680 TWINFROZR III EDITION

This video shows that the 660s beat the 680 in 3DMark and most games, so I guess that's your answer. Although you'd have to consider that 2 cards would be louder and more difficult to manage (e.g. drivers) than a single 680.

Personally I would go for the 680 even though it might be a little slower now, if you add a second one later then it's gunna be WAY more beast.
