ASUS Strix airflow

Go to solution Solved by don_svetlio,

All GPU fans push air onto the heatsink. There is no other way for it to be.

I have an ASUS Strix GTX 970 and from what I have read (but not entirely sure) the fans push air onto the heatsinks rather than pulling air off them...could somebody please confirm that?

Basically, I am trying to decide whether I should put an intake or an exhaust fan on the bottom of my case and I guess that decision is dependant on the airflow direction of the GPU fans.
