Wifi wont turn on!

jousef

I cannot turn on the wifi option on my laptop, I click it and it goes back to off. I am running windows 10

I tried the button switch on the laptop,

Fn+F5 and

updating drivers, uninstalling then re-installing them.

Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000

Driver version: 15.4.1.1

have ye made sure the card is not deactivated?
right click the wifi icon on the taskbar, click on the "network and sharing" (or something similar, just not the fix errors). then on the left you will see settings for network card or something similar, click on that. if yer wifi card is deactivated, left click, then right click and activate

or maybe it could be something as retarded as this;

1. Right-Click start menu and select Device Manager

2. Expand Network Adapters

3. Right click properties

4. Click Power Management

5. Uncheck the box entitled "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

well, this is frustrating.. I'm stumped! I'll try and read a few forums if theres anything I missed.

had the same issue on my older laptop not sure how i fixed it. think i reinstalled a few times and pleaded with the ms gods.

pretty sure there must be a conflicting driver issue.
