Motherboard problems

So my current motherboard has this weird problem where it bugs out after a few hours of use (this varies.) When this happens, all devices connected to the USB ports directly on the motherboard will stop working and audio devices will make very odd noises. However, if I connect the devices to the front panel USB ports, they work fine when this happens. What could this problem be?

System:

Intel Xeon 1230 v2

2x4GB RAM

NVidia GTX 760

Mobo: Z77MA-G45

im guessing you have tried resetting/clearing CMOS?

Yes and I've tried getting the newest BIOS version, but that didn't change anything

flashing BIOS isn't the same as resetting/clearing CMOS.

1. Have you completely turned off ur pc? (out of wall and everything)

2. Is the 24-pin connector full plugged in (both ends)

 

If you have done all this, it could be a fault with the mobo. I have browsed around a bit and found this: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/dead-usb-port-heres-how-to-diagnose-and-fix-it/ not sure if that will help

I'm actually going to be trying a fresh install of windows 10 in a bit so hopefully that should help
