HDD formating

So I recently built a new computer and replaced the OS on to a SSD, I have an old HDD with another OS on it but I want to wipe it clean. What is the best way to do this?

Go into file explorer (Make sure that the HDD is plugged into the computer), right click the correct drive which would be your HDD >> Format... >> Format it into an NTFS volume.
