Heey guys/gals,

I posted this problem before, but now i try to tackle it in a different way.

My motherboard has some very weird issues. Sometimes when i press the start button on my case only the reset button lights up and the cpu fan start spinnen, other than that nothing happens (also no video output). I have tried everything i could come up with and every suggestion you guys made.

I only need to be sure that the problem is in my motherboard before replacing it.

Does one of you know how i can confirm that replacing the motherboard will fix this problem.

BTW: by removing power from the pc for a couple of seconds the pc turns on normally when i press the button, but the next time i want to start it this problem happens again.

I was planning on replacing my motherboard since i was using a i7-4790k icw an h97 motherboard. I am planning to buy another LGA1150 motherboard but i need to know if it will be for this computer.

Thanks in advance everyone.

Greetings,

Jeroen
