Well, however.. When should I start worrying about my temps? I know 75C is fine but when it's alert status ? :)

I had a 570 once that i just let run at 90 °C so its more quiet :D.

90-95°C is about where the limit is, usually running a card @ 85°C is very safe and reasonable for some quiet gaming, its about where id aim with the fan curve for a new card.

Hello guys,

I have GTX 760 4GB Asus Striker Platinum RoG GPU and I'm just curious about one thing.

First of all , when I bought this card iddle temps were 20-25C and on heavy load max 65C. It was awesome...

But now, card is old about 2 years and it's running hotter then before. System setup is the same, same case , same fan setup, gpu fans on "auto", same ambient temp (about 25c).

Now , my card is running on 30-35C iddle, 75C on heavy load. I also replaced thermal paste 2 days ago and blew all the dust from the gpu cooler itself (thermal paste is CM: IC Value V1.) and it's not running like before when it was brand new.

Is that normal for GPUs to get hotter from time to time or it should perfom just like when they were brand new ?

Thanks.

Mhh, maybe your room is just warmer or the fan curve was changed, also if you properly cleaned and replaced the card the airflow in your pc case just might be worse (e.g. if your intake dust filter is full or your cables are a mess.).

It might also be that you remember it incorrectly (took the gpu temp too early or with the side panel off etc.)

Anyways, 75°C doesnt really hurt your gpu, so its fine.

Agreed, with my cards default fan curve it runs at 82C under load but with a custom fan curve it runs at 67-70C.
