I have been a bit worried myself. I have an i7 6700k and an h100igtx installed in an NZXT H440 in the front drawing air in. Idle temps are around 28, but under a load the temps will never balance out, it will steadily climb and after about 10 minutes the temps will rise above 80. The cooler temp says that the coolant is at around 50 so I get nervous and pull the load off of the cpu. I expected much better cooling from this cooler. I am thinking about switching back to air cooling. Disappointed in the performance of this comparatively expensive AIO cooler. Maybe I have a defective cooler, but from what I have seen it should not get this hot. Many people report load temps under 70 with this cooler. Any Ideas?

Try taking the front of your case off and trying again.
