Fingerprint Scanner

I built my first desktop a few months ago, but after 4 years on my HP Laptop with an integrated fingerprint scanner I've become used to logging in that way. I've been looking for a good USB Scanner but haven't found much reliable recent information, If anyone could point me in the direction of some reputable brands or sources of information that would be much appreciated. I am running Windows 10 Pro if that matters.

OK, so I have narrowed it down to the Verifi P5100 or the Verifi P2000. I appears that the 2000 has a swipe sensor and the 5100 has a static sensor. The 5100 also costs 2.5x as much. Does anyone know if there are any real advantages to the static sensor.
