Why does KidzBop still exist?

I know there is already a thread on IGN about this but the question was left unanswered. 

 

I was listening to the real song, and when it ended I forgot to pick a new song, so it went to the KidzBop version. By the first 2 seconds, my ears were bleeding. (not literally) 

They just sounded so bad, and so off-key that I wondered why people can even STAND listening to it.

 

Thoughts?
