I have a Gigabyte 670 card, called Twin Frozer? Came with dual fans.

Yesterday I tried to overclock it with Gigabytes OC software. Stock speed was 980 MHz (non boost), and about 6000 on the memory.

I used the Furmark running with full 2560x1440 resolution to check for temp and for artifacts.

After getting up 120 MHz (both core and mem), and no problems in Furmark, and temps up to max 71c I tried Far Cry 3 and the grafics was bad. Tiers on cars was gone and stuff.

It wasn't ok again before I was back at stock speeds.

Was it the memory that couldn't handle it? I remember Furmark only going on 13% load on memory, while 100% on the core

The CPU I overclocked with Asus Proble, which says it's at 103x39 (about 4010 MHz). but both Real Temp GT and CPUz says 103x38, and bethween 3.8 and 3.9 GHz.

I have a 3770K with H80i, which reaches about 68c on the hottest core.

Sorry for the few off Capital letters in my posts, it does it on its own when I Write in English, since my OS is in another Language. It's annoying.

Uhm. Set your Bclk to 100 and don't move it again :P

You should always OC the GPU core before you mess with the memory.

Don't use Furmark to test stability, its good for testing heat output.

Raise your GPU core up about 10-20MHz at a time and test it with 10-30min runs of Heaven 4.0. After you get a display driver crash or BSOD, lower your clock by 20MHz and start moving the memory.

After you've reached your max, run Heaven 4.0 for at least an hour then murder your card with 3DMark(2013) runs, at least 3 runs.

GL and don't move the Bclk!

Dumb question: what Bclk?

I raised the core with +10 each time. I'll try again without touching the memory.
