STREAMING/GAMING PC

Greetings esteemed pc users! I'm currently on a quest to build a personal streaming/gaming pc to further my production of gaming centered content. Sadly I lack the knowledge of enthusiast PC hardware to piece together a system of my own design. That's why I've come here to Linus tech tips forums. Essentially what I'm asking of all of you is to use your knowledge to help me pick the optimal price for performance parts with a budget of around $2000-$2500 USD. Here is what I will need this system to do.

  1. Stream the lastest AAA releases at 1080p 60FPS
  2. Play graphically intensive games at "Ultra" at 1080p 60+ FPS(60 is the minimum. If the GPU you have in mind is able to consistently perform at 60 or above that would be optimal)
  3. Edit video efficiently
  4. Run VM's effectively
  5. An all around solid PC for every workload.
  6. Upgrade availability. I don't want this to be a one and done type situation. Easy adaptability would be best.

I lack the knowledge and expertise to pick out the most optimal parts myself. That's why I hope all of you will have some great builds!

I agree, but those 2 extra cores are going to help manage. I also don't think any gamer is going to need over 5 tb's of storage. You added more storage, but took out a gpu which is sacrificing performance.

Yo Heuron thanks so much dude! I'll have to hunt for good deals and hopefully assemble something along the lines of what you have suggested.
